Health Insurance Products
There are many variations of coverage that are grouped into the Health Insurance category. Some of the more common ones that I can make available are listed here.
Medicare Supplement
Picks up where Medicare leaves off. Fills the gaps in Medicare health insurance, therefore sometimes referred to as Medigap coverage.
Long Term Care Insurance
Pays for the exorbitant costs of long term health care, generally whether in the home, assisted living facility or skilled nursing facility (nursing home).
Short Term Care Insurance
Generally provides the same coverage as a long term care policy, but for a limited time (typically up to one year), therefore offering significantly lower premiums.
DiSability Income Insurance
Helps to replace your income for a period of time should you be deemed unable to work due to sickness or disability.
Hospital Indemnity Insurance
Flexible policy type that can help offset high deductibles or other gaps in medical insurance. Excellent tool when paired with Medicare Advantage plans, helping the insured avoid the high co-pays for a very reasonable premium.
Cancer/Dread Disease Policies
Provides additional benefits to help families with costs involved in caring for cancer patients, or victims of a heart attack or stroke. Polices can either pay a single lump sum benefit, or benefits in accordance with care received.
Dental and/or Vision Insurance
Pays for office visits and procedures for dental and vision care for either individuals or families. Excellent policy for Medicare beneficiaries, as this type of care is rarely covered with most Medicare plans.
